Here comes... Pedro Caldeira!

I was all over Google the other day, and I came across this blog for Pedro Caldeira.
His blog is simply: Hot & Fancy! You travel around the world with Pedro, he takes you from Lisbon, to Delhi , passing by London, Le Cout d'Azur, Mykonos, and a couple of other places along the way and later to Rio de Janeiro.
Meanwhile, he will be telling you about some 5 stars hotels he recently visited, or couple of first class airport lounges, or what did he think of British Airways first class seats on his last trip!

Yes! this is what Pedro Caldeira does for living. According to him, his blog is the "The honest 5 star Guide for world Lifestyle & Traveling" - not bad!

Pedro is a 27 years old, half Spanish half Portuguese Interior designer, based in Madrid, Spain and works Internationally. He's been named one of Portugal's Top 50 interior designers at 23.

Pedro at his home in London

He started working in Interiors when he was 18 and 3 years later, he was managing a home, gift and interior stores. He worked on many projects in Lisbon, Brussels, London and Madrid. Commercially, he supervised the refurbishment of a spa and bar in Lisbon, a fashion showroom in Madrid and the latest a hair salon in London's prestigious Bond Street.

Pedro's Job is to die for! to travel the globe, check-in fantastic hotels, visit exotic islands, flying first class, spending summers in the Hamptons, and sun-tanning in Monte Carlo!

In one of the posts, he's wondering about purchasing some new Louis Vuitton luggage, but he is worried he may look like Nuovo Rich! :) He then goes by asking "What is tacky about wanting to have the best?" - Certainly nothing Pedro! and it's definitely OKAY to travel with LV bags, even when you are 27! Dont worry, Hermès will come eventully! ;)

And he is one fine, good looking dude! (in Geneva here)

Would love to meet you next time in town Perdo! :)

Olivier Theyskens is still at Nina Ricci...

Well, I was happy to see that Olivier Theyskens is still at Nina Ricci, after alot of rumors and speculations that he is leaving Nina Ricci, and that, Marc Jacob's right hand for 10 years at LV, Peter Copping.

But On March 5th, he presented his Fall/Winter '09 RTW collection in Paris, which was reportedly a stunning collection! Rumors started after Theyskens latest Spring/Summer collection, where buyers didnt receive the collection very well, also since Theyskens refuse the idea of the brand going commercial, by designing an accessories line of handbags and other leather goods. I dont know why I have a feeling that the rumors had served the brand as a marketing thing... I mean now they got everyone talking about whats gonna happen to the brand, or who is going to replace Olivier, and that sales havent met up to the expections, brought a lot of attention to the brand, the designer, the latest collection. And since nothing is yet confirmed, there will still be talks about this, untill we see whats gonna happen in October.

Rumor still has it that
Mario Grauso, the head of Puig Fashion Group, which owns Ricci fired Theyskens, whose contract is still valid till October, which technically means he will still be presenting another collection for the brand, SS '10 in September.

I loved Oliviers work for Rochas! I mean it was sad to see the brand closing down, and I thought Rochas Fall 2005 RTW collection was a great collection by all means! the shape, the colors, it was amazing, and i was very happy to see that Queen Rania got her share of this collection! she wore one to an event in India back in 2006, and another one later on at the Time's 100 most influential people party in NYC.
He also designed Lauren Santo Domingo's Two Wedding dresses, see pics here.

Well, I hope things work out between Theyskens and Ricci, and to have his contract renewed!
Another reason why I like him even more, is that because I found out that we both share the same birthdate! :P

Check out pics below for Nina Ricci's latest collection, and the insanly-not-wearable-extremely high heels!
